Dia 2.- LEVADA DOS MAROÇOS – RIBEIRA SECA

Conhecidas como a Levada das “Mimosas” este é um caminho levada this is an easy path that allows you to enjoy some of the most beautiful views over the valley of Machico & southeast coast.
Walking along the levada one can see farmers at work, the cultivated lands, typical houses surrounded by its gardens & fantastic views.

Día 3.- RIBEIRO FRIO – PORTELA
Full day
Departure from Funchal towards Ribeiro Frio (Natural Park) where we visit the trout hatchery; We begin the walk along one of the most beautiful Lavadas of Madeira, surrounded by a forest of innumerable characteristic plants (Laurissilva). On the way to Portela the magnificent view over Porto da Cruz and Penha D’Águia, give a fulfiling view of this fantastic walk.

Día 4.- RISCO - RABAÇAL – 25 FONTES
Full day
Going towards the west coast of the island, a short stop will be made before starting the walk at Risco and Rabaçal (a protected Natured Site).
After this pleasant 3,5 hours walk along two short Levadas with a remarkable evergreen landscape and waterfalls return to the hotel.

Día 5.- CALDEIRÃO VERDE
Full day
This walk takes place at the highest area of Santana and starts in the Natural Park of Queimadas.
Through a winding Levada and passing through several short tunnels we arrive at Caldeirão Verde - a majestic waterfall. Truly unforgettable!

Día 6.- PICO RUIVO - ENCUMEADA
Full day
Starting at Achada do Teixeira and following along Pico Ruivo Shelter, you will find the following routes to Pico do Areeiro Footpath, leading to Madeira´s 2nd highest peak (1817 m) descends to the parish of Ilha… beautiful landscapes await walkers as they cross two types of ecosystems, both of which are part of the European Network of Sites of Community Interest - Natural 2000 Network: the Central Massif Mountainous and the Laurissilva Forest.
When near Encumeada the feeling you are in the middle of an island will increase, as you will have the thrill of contemplating landscapes of the southern slope (Serra d’Água) as well as the valley of São Vicente to the north

Day 7.- SHOPPING DAY… AT LEISURE.
Natural Rules:

· Do not leave anything but footsteps!
· Pay attention to objects that may cause fires!
· Preserve the trees, the flowers and animals!

· Weather subject to frequent changes; take warm clothing.
· The path may be slippery, wear anti-slip footwear.
· Carry sufficient drinking water.

3.1. VIÁTICO TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way, not it is liable to payment of any indemnity in case of failure of power and water supply caused by third parts;
3.2. Cancellation Fee & No Show: In such cases three (3) night's accommodation will be debt, as well for all non arrivals that have not been cancelled at least five (5) days prior to expected arrival date.
